So after realising its been just over a year since I last blogged I decided it was time to get blogging again.

As some know I used to write a blog called

"The Sailing Salvationist" (http://sailingsalvationist.blogspot.co.uk)

This was due to the fact I was in the Navy and Salvation Army.

But now my situation is completely different. Now I am a distance learning Cadet in The Salvation Army, a Corps leader in South East London ad married with a baby on the way!

So I decided to start a new blog; well at first I was planning on writing a book. Until I realised I have neither the skill nor the time to actually write a book!

Although I did have a theme, which I was Holiness for men today.

Why this theme?

Well because I have read quite a few books on holiness this past year. But very few which have actually addressed the problems faced by men today.

So thats what I intend to blog about. About my struggles with living a holy life, about others struggles with living a holy life and just to generally encourage other men to strive to live a holy life.

Living a holy life is an aim which I fail in as often as I succeed. Yet I hope by blogging honestly about my struggles it will show other men that they are not alone in their struggles!

This is the theme I tend to write most about in this blog, however I may deviate at times!

If its a topic you are interest in you can always drop me a line.

I pray that in writing this others may be strengthened and encouraged.
